NPTDR is an historic snapshot of route and timetable data for just one week in October each year, and it is not suitable for public-facing information services; accordingly the data user agreement specifically precludes the use of NPTDR data for any public-facing information service. It is intended primarily for use in back-office planning and analysis tools.
